To complete orders, workstation operators perform any necessary Manual Filling activity and check completed orders using Symphony’s Rx Verification protocol. Examples of Manual Fill orders include prepackaged or non-countable medications, such as liquids and creams, or infrequently requested medications for which it’s not cost effective to be placed in Work Cell dispensers.

Upon verifying orders, operators remove the Faux Seal on each vial, verify the contents, cap the vials, and bag the orders with the patient information sheet. Then, according to the refill center’s workflow, they perform the necessary steps to ensure the completed orders are ready for shipment.
