New River Health Association (NRHA) is a non-profit, community-owned health care organization started by Fayette County citizens in 1978 to provide family health care services for the surrounding community. The NRHA’s board of directors and advisory committees consist of community members who use the association’s services. The NRHA serves thousands of families across the West Virginia counties of Fayette, Boone, Nicholas, and Raleigh.

Goals:
After performing an extensive search of automated dispensing systems, the health center selected Innovation’s PharmASSIST technology to address its main goals of maximizing patient safety, improving customer service, and decreasing patient wait times.

New River Family Health employs a PharmASSIST Symphony+ System comprised of 2 PharmASSIST cabinets, 100 dispensers, and 5 workstations. The system is integrated with the health center’s CRX pharmacy management system, ensuring real-time prescription order flow for all Rx fulfillment tasks.
