Innovation Associates Partners With Novopharm Limited
to Deliver Automated Dispensing Technology to Canadian Market
Leading Canadian Generic Manufacturer to Distribute PharmASSIST Systems in Province of Quebec

JOHNSON CITY, NY - February 7, 2002 - Innovation Associates and Novopharm Limited announce the establishment of a partnership in which Novopharm Limited will be the exclusive distributor of PharmASSIST® automated prescription dispensing technology in the Province of Quebec. Novopharm Limited, a division of Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd., will distribute PharmASSIST systems through its Novo-Technical Division, which currently distributes various pharmacy technologies to over 1700 independent pharmacies in Quebec.

Due to an existing trademark in Canada, Innovation Associates has renamed PharmASSIST as the Innovation set of products in Canada. The product suite is comprised of the Innovation SmartCabinet System, Innovation Symphony+ System, Innovation Workflow Software, and the Innovation Robotic System. Using these products, pharmacies enhance the quality of their prescription filling, improve their workflow, and free up their pharmacists to manage patient medication therapies and to provide pharmaceutical care.
