National Direct Home Pharmacy Addresses Rapidly Growing Prescription Volume With Innovation's PharmASSIST Technology
South Carolina-based Mail Order Pharmacy Increases Dispensing Capacity and Workflow Efficiency

JOHNSON CITY, NY - April 3, 2006 - Innovation Associates announced today that National Direct Home Pharmacy, a South Carolina-based mail order pharmacy and diabetic supply firm, has implemented their PharmASSIST® Symphony+ System to automate the pharmacy's prescription fulfillment process. National Direct Home Pharmacy provides direct mail delivery of prescription medications and drugs to patients throughout the United States, with a specific emphasis on Medicaid, Medicare, indigent, and homeless populations.

Prior to implementing automation, National Direct was filling on average 350-400 prescriptions per day. With PharmASSIST Symphony+, a combined counting technology and workflow management system, the pharmacy is now filling approximately 450-500 daily with peak days reaching as high as 700 prescriptions. The system is fully integrated with National Direct's pharmacy management system, QS/1.
