Counting Technology Lab
To ensure our PharmASSIST dispensers count accurately, our Counting Technology Lab calibrates and tests precise software-counting parameters for all medications (NDCs and DINs) in our calibration database. We currently have over 11,000 medications in the database.

Since PharmASSIST dispensers employ software-counting parameters, you can easily assign and change medications for a dispenser whenever you want simply using bar code scanning and our software. This key feature separates the PharmASSIST dispenser from the pack and enables Innovation's expert Counting Technology Lab to control the accuracy settings of dispensers and not leave it to pharmacy staff to make mechanical adjustments.

Our lab is a licensed pharmacy and has a pharmacist on staff. Thus, Innovation is licensed to order Schedule II, III, IV, and V controlled products. The lab also regularly communicates with multiple pharmaceutical suppliers, enabling us to obtain medications for calibration quickly. And, of course, if you order a new medication not in our current database, we will calibrate it in as timely a manner as possible. We update our calibration database on a weekly basis, and are flexible in accommodating your requests. We also take images of medications we calibrate if our standard drug image database doesn't have them.
